About
I am a Computer Science Engineer from Universidad de Los Lagos. Since 2024 I have been building and maintaining Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) in production: the software where a patient encounter is registered, a sample is received, a result is validated, and a report is issued for a physician to read before deciding on treatment.
That context shapes how I work. A bug in a shopping cart costs a sale; a bug in a lab report costs something you cannot give back. Two habits follow from it, and I carry them everywhere else: verify against reality instead of against my own assumptions, and write down what does not work yet.
In parallel I build and operate my own infrastructure. It is not decorative: it is where I practice what my day job does not let me practice. I run a VPS with dozens of services I wrote myself — a kanban board, a Kindle library, monitoring, an RSVP reader, a mini-ERP — and I keep them alive alone, including the Sunday 3 a.m. outage.
I am now moving toward applied AI, focused on the problem I understand best: turning free clinical text into structured, trustworthy data.

What I have actually used to ship something to production — not a wish list.
